Swimming Course Terms & Conditions

1. Payment Rules

 

1.1 Kids Group Classes

a. 4 lessons per month, with fees paid monthly. Payment is due on the 1st of each month.

b. First-time enrolment requires a prepayment of two months’ fees, with one month serving as a deposit. To withdraw, notify the coach one month in advance; the deposit will be used as the final month’s fee.

 

1.2 Adults’ Group Classes

a. Each term consists of 10 lessons over a 3-month period, with fees paid in full at the time of registration.

b. No makeup lessons or refunds will be provided for lessons not completed within the term period.

 

1.3 Absence Fee Handling

a. Students who miss an entire month of classes are still required to pay tuition. If the monthly fee is not paid, the deposit will be used to cover the fee and will not be refunded.

 

2. Absence and Refund Policy

 

Super Panda provides a service, and refunds are generally not offered. Any payment made indicates acceptance of the following terms:

       •  Refunds may be requested within 7 days after the first lesson; no refunds will be granted afterward.

       •  Super Panda reserves the right to determine whether a refund is granted.

 

2.1 General Absences

a. Students who miss classes will not receive makeup lessons or refunds unless they provide a valid medical certificate.

b. Students who miss one month of classes must still pay tuition, or their spot may be forfeited.

 

2.2 Long-Term Sick Leave

a. Students with valid medical certificates and diagnosis letters may negotiate a pause in their lessons with the coach; however, the deposit will not be refunded.

b. For long-term sick leave with withdrawal, the deposit will be fully refunded.

 

2.3 Automatic Withdrawal

Students who fail to attend classes for two consecutive months without prior notice will be considered to have withdrawn. Tuition fees and deposits will not be refunded.

 

3. Sick Leave Arrangements

 

a. Students who miss classes due to illness must provide a medical certificate. Only one makeup lesson or substitute class is allowed per month.

b. For long-term illness, students may provide a medical certificate to negotiate a pause or withdrawal (see Section 2.2).

 

4. Adverse Weather and Class Substitutions

 

a. Lessons cancelled due to adverse weather (e.g., lightning, haze) that results in pool closure will not be rescheduled or refunded.

b. Lessons will proceed during rain. In cases of lightning and pool closures, land-based training or SwimSafer theory lessons will be conducted instead.

 

5. Lightning Risk

 

Pools (including public and condominium pools) may be closed due to lightning risk. Pool management has the authority to decide on closures. For closure updates, please contact the pool management directly, as coaches cannot provide this information.

 

6. Private Lessons

 

a. Lessons cancelled without at least 1-day prior notice will be considered completed.

b. All four private lessons must be completed within 30 days of the first lesson. Any unused lessons will be forfeited without rescheduling or refund.

 

7. Holiday Arrangements

 

a. The 5th week of each month is considered a special holiday. No classes will be conducted unless otherwise notified by the coach.

b. No classes will be held on public holidays or Chinese New Year’s Eve, and no substitutions or refunds will be provided.

 

8. Disclaimer

 

Super Panda is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or loss of life that may occur during participation in its courses, including any related expenses or claims.

 

9. Amendments and Interpretation Rights

 

Super Panda reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice. The latest version will be published and will take effect immediately.
